Blend Up the Perfect Green Smoothie

All of us here at BeWell Expo understand how busy mornings can be, causing many people to skip out on breakfast. Just by taking 5 minutes out of your morning, you can blend up a quick meal full of essential vitamins and servings of fruits and vegetables for the day!

We have for you a guide to create the perfect green smoothie, using natural ingredients for a healthy meal on-the-go.

BASE

Choose from 8oz of coconut water for better athletic performance, green tea if you want a kick of energy, or water for weight loss.

GREENS

Drink a serving of vegetables in your morning smoothie! Add in either 2 cups of kale or 2 cups of spinach, or one cup of each.

FRUIT

You can choose one cup of whatever fruit you want. Be creative and try different fruits each time to see what you like best! We recommend blueberries, strawberries, banana, or pineapple.

HEALTHY FATS

For healthy fats, you can choose from 1 tbsp coconut oil, or 1 tbsp of mashed avocado, which contain monosaturated fats that contribute to a healthy heart.

SWEETENER 

To sweeten up your super smoothie, add about 1 tbsp honey, or 1 tbsp pure stevia.

Add all ingredients in a blender, and blend well! If you would like a thicker smoothie, add a handful of ice to the mix.
